Back-dated entry. Couldn't believe it was delayed for so long. It's finally here.

28 Apr 2007. Esplanade.
Arranged for the event and show quite some time back. Decided to watch the Opera with deary and both of us started saving to make it happen. Therefore, managed to get the tickets online and got real good seats but the date was slightly towards the ending dates of the troop here in Singapore.

Until we got into the theatre, then realized i was sooooo snooked. I din't realize it was such a side and flank seat. Though we were totally near the stage, i almost freaked out. Deary teared and i sense the intense disappointment. Decided to grab her hands quickly then. It sucked. I felt the total same way cos we made so much arrangements to only end up being terrible.

We took some time to settle down our hearts and started praying. The decision was made that we ought to be thankful to God for wherever we sat because we ain't wanting to leave the place in bitterness. During the break, we prayed and agreed we'll totally enjoy ourselves. True enough, hearts and mindset were mended and God totally changed the mood.

We appreciated the angle where we sat cos the character came out mostly from the right. Being so near the stage, we managed to come up close to the professional touch of the costumes and facial expressions of the singers. Blown-away!

I took time to reflect how i ain't aware of arts scene in Singapore. The interest grew and i realized my growth in such sector and arts appreciation. Apart from the Opera itself, i enjoyed God's presence and the company of my love.

Here are some photos of sweet victory in Christ of a r/s. The beauty of learning how to build another up, tolerance and mutual respect for another played it's importance. There are lot more challanges for us to face-every smile on our face is a strong story behind.

Deary, you make a difference that night. We could have left empty handed but we received much more. You'll sing beautifully like Christine and tho' i may not have wonderful voice of the lead, let me remain the Raoul in you...

"Let me be your freedom, let daylight dry -your tears. I'm here, with you, beside you, to guard you and to guide you ..."

No casts? but a lady was kind enough to lend us batteries for this shot!
